At the times of Saxonys king August the Strong wine was besides porcelaine and silver one of riches of our country. Still in our days Saxonys wine is very spezial. And spezial is also what we offer to our guests. Lots of historic winebergs invite the tourist to visit and make random tests of the locally produced wines. |

Everybody knows Winnetou and Old Shatterhand but rarely anyone knows that the creator of these figures named Karl May was born and lived all his life in Radebeul. In his old house now exists a museum where one can inform on Mr. Mays life and work. Each year we´ve got a big Karl May Festival with indian guests from North America, Mexico, Guatemala and other countries who dance and share their culrute with the visitor.

As our home , Albrechthof, lies above some winebergs we do overlook whole dresden and ist beauti literally lies down to our feet. In walking distance from Ollywood these are some nice sitesseing points to discover. For example one can take an historic train called Lößnitzdackel and ride it through the countryside untill the summer chateau of August the Strong - Moritzburg. Or can visist the oldest wellness-wave-creating swimmingpool of the world which was built in 1911. |
